Rooted in Real Experience

A nonprofit delivering immersive, hands-on learning that prepares teens for an unpredictable, tech-driven future.

Our Mission

Through its carefully designed, evidence-based, real-world programs and a peer community, Kindraza strives to equip teens aged 11-16 with the problem-solving skills, creativity and mindset to thrive in a rapidly changing world shaped by AI

Teens are growing up in a world that no one prepared them for

Today’s teens face constant digital distraction, social pressure, and rapid technological change.

Traditional education focuses on grades, but rarely teaches the skills and critical thinking young people need to navigate emerging technology.

Many teens graduate without learning how to:

• earn money

• solve real problems

• communicate and debate confidently

• manage technology responsibly

• set goals and build plans to achieve them

Kindraza was created to close that gap.

Our evidence-based programs counter the risks of screens and AI overexposure by immersing teens in real-world experiences, community, and hands-on challenges that build confident, responsible adults, while teaching them purposeful, goal-driven use of technology as a tool, not a distraction.
What Makes Kindraza Different
As parents, we want our children to grow up strong, smart, and ready for life’s challenges.

At Kindraza, we believe babysitting and entrepreneurship are two of the best ways to help teens build the skills they’ll carry into adulthood.

Learning by Doing, Not Just Listening:
AI & Digital Literacy

Students learn how technology shapes attention, behaviour, and opportunity. Kindraza teaches them to use digital tools intentionally — as supports for their goals rather than sources of distraction. At the same time, hands-on experiences like babysitting and entrepreneurship pull teens out of passive screen time and into the real world, where they learn to communicate, stay calm under pressure, solve problems independently, and take pride in their abilities. Together, these experiences build the mental resilience, confidence, and self-esteem that no app can teach.

Prepares Them for the Future

Through hands-on projects teens are learning skills like time management, teamwork, and handling tough situations. Earning their own money teaches them the value of hard work and how to budget, setting them up to be independent and ready for whatever comes next.

Mentorship & Community

Teens learn alongside motivated peers and mentors in a supportive environment where they feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow through experience. We’re here to guide your teen every step of the way, so you can feel confident they’re learning life skills in a structured, encouraging environment.

Real-World Skills

Teens learn to create ideas, build projects, and launch small ventures.

Programs like babysitting training teach leadership, safety, and financial independence, to be responsible, think on their feet, and care for others. Teens learn how to plan, solve problems, and manage money. These are lessons in leadership and decision-making that stick with them forever.

Our Programs

In a world shaped by AI and constant digital noise, teens face unique challenges such as mental health pressures, social media overload, and uncertainty about their future.

Through hands-on programs we provide real-world skills, foster emotional resilience, and create supportive communities that give teens purpose and confidence.

Blog Post: Why Do Teenagers Make Bad Choices?
THE INVERTED PROBLEM PYRAMID by Natalia V. Petrova.
Research shows that substance experimentation and use in Canada often begins in the early teens and that significantly increases the risk of later addiction, which in turn contributes to high rates of homelessness, particularly among those who first lose housing at a young age.
Why should we care?
Because young people are the ones who will be shaping our society in just a few years. And coming from a good family does not guarantee that they won’t go down the wrong path.
As early drug use often stems from poor mental health, social disconnection, and excessive screen time, if we can build programs that strengthen peer bonds, coping skills, resilience, and purposeful engagement, we can meaningfully reduce teens’ risk of substance experimentation. Therefore, at Kindraza we particularly focus on three of the four most common reasons for drug use among youth. read more> > >
